Before you come

You know the cost before we start

No surprises: we tell you how it is paid and what it costs, in writing, before the first visit.

  • With insurance

We bill some plans. Call or message us with your plan's name and we will tell you whether we can bill it. Your plan decides what it pays.

  • If you pay yourself

The doctor gives you the cost in writing before you start, and you get an itemized receipt at every visit.

  • A written estimate

If you don't use insurance, you have the right to a good faith estimate. Ask for it and we give it to you before the visit.

Care

What we do

Every visit starts with a conversation and an exam. The doctor explains what they see and what they propose.

  • A chiropractic table in a bright treatment room with a plant by the window.

    Chiropractic adjustment

The doctor moves the joints of the spine and body by hand, or with a small instrument. They explain each step before doing it.

    Soft tissue

Hands-on work on muscles and tendons, sometimes along with the adjustment: sustained pressure and gentle stretching.

    Exercise and rehab

Simple exercises with bands and balls, adjusted to you by the doctor, to do at the clinic and at home.

At the front desk

We speak your language

At the front desk you are greeted in Spanish or English, whichever you prefer. Before we start, we tell you how long the visit takes, what it includes and what it costs.

If writing is easier, message us on WhatsApp: we answer there too.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What happens at my first visit?

We talk about what you need, the doctor examines you and explains what they propose and what it costs, in writing. You decide whether to start that day. The first visit takes about 45 minutes.

What are the risks of chiropractic care?

Tiredness or sore muscles are common after an adjustment; tell us if they don't go away. In rare cases, neck adjustment has been linked to injuries to the arteries of the neck, although it is not known whether it is the cause. The doctor explains the risks before any neck adjustment, and you decide. If you have a sudden, severe headache or neck pain, call 911 or see a physician before coming in.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on the person. The doctor proposes a plan after the exam and reviews it with you at every visit. We don't promise a number of visits.

Do you take my insurance?

We bill some plans. Call or message us with your plan's name before the first visit and we will tell you whether we can bill it. No plan pays for everything, and your plan decides what it pays. See how fees work.

What if I don't use insurance?

You pay at each visit. Before we start, we give you the cost in writing and, if you ask, a good faith estimate. We also give you an itemized receipt you can send to your plan, if you like.
