Care
Soft tissue
It is hands-on work on muscles and tendons: sustained pressure, gentle stretching and movement of the tissues. It is for adults with muscle tension who want the doctor to check it.
It can be done in the same visit as an adjustment, if you like. The doctor tells you before changing the pressure, and you can ask for more or less.

What to expect
What a visit includes
The doctor checks the area, asks what bothers you and works with their hands. They explain what they are doing and why.
How long and how often
A session is usually part of the visit. The doctor reviews it with you and adjusts the plan; we don't promise a number of visits.
What we don't promise
We don't promise the tension will go away or how long the effect lasts. Some muscle soreness may remain for a few days.
How it is paid
With or without insurance, we tell you the cost in writing before you start.

Questions
Questions about this care
Is it the same as a massage?
It is similar, but the chiropractor does it during your visit and for a specific purpose, which the doctor explains. If you are looking for a relaxation massage, ask us first.
Can it hurt?
You may feel pressure or some discomfort. Tell the doctor if it is too much, and they will lower the pressure.
