Care

Exercise and rehab

These are simple exercises with bands, balls and your own body weight. They are for adults who want to learn what to do at home between visits.

The doctor adjusts each exercise to you and explains how to do it carefully. If something doesn't feel right, you say stop.

A spacious rehab area with resistance bands, exercise balls and dumbbells.

The essentials

What to expect

  • What a visit includes

The doctor shows you each exercise, does it with you at the clinic and gives you a sheet with drawings to repeat it at home.

  • How long and how often

The exercises are reviewed at each visit and change depending on how you feel. We don't promise a number of visits.

  • What we don't promise

We don't promise the exercises will relieve a problem. If something gets worse, stop and tell us.

  • How it is paid

With or without insurance, we tell you the cost in writing before you start.

Questions about this care

Do I need equipment at home?

Not necessarily. Many exercises need no equipment. If the doctor suggests a band, we show it to you at the clinic.

Can I do them if I have another medical condition?

Tell the doctor before you start. If needed, we suggest you check with your physician first.
